Adfen Software came into being in 2001 when it became clear that the Enneagram would be a serious subject of further study and that a product would emerge to manage the assessment of this valuable model. At that point, relatively unknown, the Enneagram had an exotic ring and an excitement about its simplicity that attracted the Adfen partnership to bring Rob Barnes on board to develop the applications and, more pertinently, author the reports that the system would produce.
He brought his already established products across with him and work began on the first generation E-Scale processor which is still going strong although it is now almost completely replaced by its web-based counterpart.
The Personallity Profiler was already established as a product and had a fairly large licensed following and the first generation of Career Direction Finder was about but never marketed as the result of it having been developed specifically for a client and was used in house.
At this time, Charmaine Elliott of incremental insights was also at the end of her doctorate work on graphology as a projective technique and the application that delivers her reports was also developed by the company.
These products are all still used and the Career Direction Finder has just been released in its new version.

I am facinated by human behaviour and the origins of the patterns that it seems to follow.
